Apache Safety Trainers - The Review

Apache Safety Trainers - The Review

  • by Cathy Houghton

So, you work in an environment where you need some protection for your feet. You don’t really need safety boots, but you also don’t want to leave your toes unprotected, and you need shoes that will grip really well.

Apache Safety Trainers

The Apache safety trainer could be the answer for you. Who would need safety trainers as opposed to work boots? Anyone who needs to be able to zip around the site/ building all day. Like a supervisor, or engineer, for example.

When you need to be highly mobile, you want a lightweight and comfortable shoe that does offer some protection. Apache work trainers could fit the bill.

Design

There are several models of work trainers on offer. All of these offer Apache’s innovative design and reinforce its reputation for creating a comfortable and practical range. All of the work trainers incorporate a padded tongue and cuff for extra comfort.

This ensures that the shoes fit well and can be appropriately secured. There will be no chafing against the inside.

All the models offer excellent traction, even in slippery conditions. The anti-slip surface is especially useful when you are working in wet conditions, or where there is a likelihood of slippery floors. These are particularly useful in the petrochemical industries.

Some, like the Apache Kick, also features a lining that wicks away moisture to keep your feet cool and dry during the day. If you have a problem with sweaty feet, this model could be the right option for you.

The shoes all have high-quality Eva foam moulded insoles to provide arch support and increase the comfort. When you slip these on, you’ll feel like you are walking on clouds. The relatively flexible sole makes it easier to move, and this increases the comfort.

Finally, as much excess weight as possible has been shaved off these models. These are not going to weigh you down or cause fatigue during the latter half of the day.

All models in this line do come equipped with either an aluminium or steel toe cap. This provides the same kind of protection for your toes that you would find in a work boot.

The uppers are made of durable leather and feature mesh inserts to help improve breathability.

Likewise, while looks aren’t the most important thing, these are trainers that you can quite easily wear in your spare time as well. They have been stylishly designed – no one will ever guess that you have come straight from work when you have these on.

Conclusion

When you want a shoe that offers excellent protection for your feet, but you don’t necessarily need safety boots, these are the great option. These are perfect for those who need to move around a workplace where there is some danger of getting hurt or a high danger of slipping.

Apache has done it again with this line of trainers. They are highly practical, look great and are incredibly comfortable to boot. You’ll also be pleasantly surprised by the price – they aren’t the cheapest shoes on the market, but they do offer the best value for your money.

But don’t just take my word for it – try them out for yourself and feel the difference.
