Waterproof and Winter Work Jackets
For wet and cold days, look at padded, waterproof styles. The Apache ATS Waterproof Padded Work Jacket has taped seams, a removable storm hood and a 3,000mm hydrostatic head. The Portwest DX4 Insulated Waterproof Winter Jacket is padded and has 4-way stretch, so it moves with you. Are work jackets waterproof?
Many are, but not all. Check each product page. For example, the Apache ATS jacket lists a 3,000mm hydrostatic head and taped seams. Look for taped seams if you work in heavy rain.
What’s the difference between a work jacket and a fleece?
A work jacket is your outer layer and keeps the wind and rain off. A fleece is a warm mid-layer, and it works well under a waterproof on cold days.
What’s the best work jacket for winter?
